TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you create an account, book or attend a class, or use the facilities and services provided by The Spin Collective. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.

2. Accounts and bookings

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account. Bookings are personal to the named customer and may not be transferred without our agreement. A class place is confirmed only once the booking process and payment have been completed.

Customers are responsible for checking the class date, start time and duration before completing a booking.

3. Cancellation and credit policy

More than two hours before the class: if you cancel more than two hours before the scheduled start time, the payment will be converted into a class credit. The credit must be used to book a future class within one month of the cancellation date.

Less than two hours before the class: classes cancelled with less than two hours' notice will result in the loss of the payment made for that class. No class credit will be issued.

Failure to attend: customers who do not attend a booked class and have not cancelled in accordance with the policy above will lose the payment made.

Customer cancellations are not refundable. This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Changes or cancellations by us

We may occasionally need to change an instructor, class time, class format or other published detail. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice where possible.

If The Spin Collective cancels a class and cannot provide a suitable alternative, customers may choose a replacement class credit or a refund of the affected class payment.

5. Arrival and participation

Please arrive in sufficient time to prepare safely before the class. Late arrival may result in refusal of entry where joining would be unsafe or disruptive. In that situation, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation.

Customers must follow all reasonable instructions given by the instructor, use equipment appropriately and behave respectfully towards staff and other riders.

6. Health and medical information

Indoor cycling is physically demanding. You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to participate and for seeking medical advice where appropriate.

You must tell us about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, medication or other health concern that may affect your ability to exercise safely. You must also tell the instructor if this information changes before a class.

We may refuse or stop participation where we reasonably believe that continuing could present a risk to you or another person. Information supplied about health or emergency contacts will be handled confidentially and used only where reasonably necessary.

7. Emergency contacts

Customers are asked to provide an emergency contact and must ensure that the details remain accurate. We may contact that person where we reasonably believe it is necessary because of an accident, illness or other welfare concern.

8. Personal belongings

Personal belongings are brought onto the premises at the customer's own risk. Please keep valuables secure. We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Photography and promotional media

Photography and video consent is optional and is collected separately from acceptance of these terms. Where consent has been given, images may be used on our website, social media and promotional material. Consent may be withdrawn by contacting us. Withdrawal will apply to future use, although material already published or printed may not always be capable of immediate removal.

10. Personal information

We use personal information to administer accounts, process bookings, communicate about classes, support customer safety and operate the member experience. Customers should keep their profile information accurate and inform us of relevant changes.

Marketing messages will only be sent where permitted by law, and you may unsubscribe or withdraw marketing consent at any time.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for loss arising from a customer's failure to follow instructions, misuse of equipment, failure to disclose relevant health information, or events outside our reasonable control.

12. Suspension or refusal of service

We may refuse entry, cancel a booking or suspend an account where a customer behaves abusively, creates a safety risk, deliberately damages equipment, repeatedly disrupts classes, or seriously breaches these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applying to a booking will be the version made available when that booking was placed, unless a change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to the customer.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in them prevents a customer from using any mandatory consumer protection available in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@thespincollective.co.uk.
