OUR CLASSES

RHYTHM SESSIONS

A music driven full body workout that matches movement to the rhythm of the music. Letting the beat dictate the rhythm allows these classes to cover a range of speeds and resistance options, giving a well rounded overall workout. 

Focuses on: Cycling to the beat.

Benefits: Overall fitness, stamina and strength.

SPEED SESSIONS

Speed sessions are high intensity interval workout that mixes sprints with slower recovery periods. These short, powerful bursts of effort help build power and your ability to go faster for longer. Not to the beat of the music.

Focuses on: Higher cadence at a lower resistance.

Benefits: Heart health and stamina.

POWER SESSIONS

Power sessions are interval training that focuses on a heavier resistance. Climbs help to build strength and muscular endurance.

Not to the beat of the music. 

Focuses on: Slower cadence with higher resistance.

Benefits: Strength and toning.

WHAT IS The Spin Collective?

We are a new boutique Spin Cycling studio situated in Taunton town centre in the heart of the independent quarter.

We offer high energy music driven group spin cycling classes both to the beat of the music where you cycle in time to the BPM (beats per minute) and not to the beat of the music, where instead we use music to uplift the energy in the room.

Our class schedule and availability of class types will grow as we start to fill classes.

Anyone 16 or over, male or female etc is welcome to join our classes and we try to make these fun in a non-intimidating environment.

We have a new fully equipped studio with 11 Matrix spin bikes (1 for the instructor and 10 customer bikes). Our studio is both fully air conditioned and equipped with infa-red heat lamps, so we can run sessions hot or cold. 



Each session lasts 45 minutes.

We can also cater for 1:1 training sessions.
